The Real life lost boys|Cinci Lei project

**CINCI LEI UPDATE POST!**
Hello, How are you?
Today I want to bring your attention to a really amazing project 'Cinci Lei'

In the underground tunnels of Bucharest, capital of Romania, lives the 'Lost boys'. For three years photographer/filmmaker Joost Vandebrug has been working on the 'Cinci Lei' project; a very special project that follows the lives of Father figure Bruce Lee and the 'lost boys',in particular: Nicu, Stefan, Costel, Liviu and Andrei; a few of the many 'third generation' children in Bucharest living homeless after the fall of communism.

'A teenage utopia of freedom, rebellion and lawlessness is set in a parallel society, fueled by destructive drugs and little state or parental protection'

Joost Vandebrug has dedicated practically all his time to documenting the boys since 2011, taking over 6000 stills and 30 hours of footage. As the years have passed, he has come to learn of the coming of age generations' incredible stories entangled in a backdrop of drug addiction, orphanages and extreme weather, but even more evidently are the incredibly powerful friendships and the life long bonds the boys share.

Working closely with independent organisation 'Asosciatia Homeless' Vandebrug has been able to follow, support the boys and visit terminally ill Nicu in hospital. Recently, he has spent time finding housing and shelter for some of the boys; who he can now call friends.

With the footage and stills all ready to go, through working with DUST magazine and a printing house, all that Vandebrug needs now is funding to print his book 'Cinci Lei'  (+ DVD that will be added to the book) so that it can be published and distributed so that more people can learn about the boys incredible stories.

With the aid of a Kickstarter campaign, Vandebrug hopes to raise the funds needed to print 'Cinci Lei' to help support the boys further. All the money left over from the Kickstarter campaign/ all possible money raised from sales will be going straight to the boys pockets.
