Today I'll be interviewing Otilia from Little Library of Dreams!
Hello Otilia! How are you?
Thank you so much for agreeing to be interviewed, it’s great
to have you over on Head-full-of-flowers! I thought we could start off by you
introducing yourself a little to everyone; where you’re from, what you do, your
interests and the story behind your lovely blog ‘little library of dreams’!
Hello lovelies! I am Otilia, the blogger behind Little Library of
Dreams. I am super excited to give this interview for Lizzie, who is by the
way, super cute and lovely. I am from Romania , a little European country with
beautiful places worth visiting. I’m mostly interested in everything that has to do with health,
literature and ways of letting your hair down, that’s why my blog deals with
pretty much of everything I like and I am interested in.
That’s so sweet of you, I’m very excited to be interviewing you, you’re
a very beautiful person inside and out and I love your blog! So Otilia, can you tell us what’s your
favourite topic to write about or your favourite kind of post?
I’m full of excitement and energy while writing about books, cover
reveals, reviews & co. I am a book freak , therefore I’ve got a little
library in my room which is growing with the passing of days and I’d love to
talk about all of them at once (that’s impossible though) , perhaps I could try. I also like to make
reviews on different beauty products I’m using, it’s quite relaxing.
Wow, I bet you’re book collection is amazing! What’s your favourite
post of yours so far and why?
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones , Movie Review. Firstly, because it’s about
the best movie I’ve seen in 2013 and I can’t help myself but re-watch it.
Secondly, because it’s based on the bestselling novel with the same name, by
Cassandra Clare which is brilliant and I recommend it to everyone. And last but
not least, because it’s got 100+ page views and I’m proud of this.
What are your top three blogs to read and why are they so great?
http://pillarbox-post.blogspot.ro/ Because her blog is incredibly
lovely and I always get relaxed while reading it.
http://davina-tian.blogspot.ro/ Her posts are very interesting,
nicely written and she posts on a regular basis, which is a very good thing.
http://www.zoella.co.uk/ There’s no need to explain why I like
reading her blog. Zoella is my favourite blogger, youtuber & co. Reading
her posts always put me in a good mood and I simply love it!
Great choices! Who doesn’t love Zoella?! What can’t you leave the
house without?
I can’t leave my house without my phone, head phones, a good book
and lip gloss.
Ah, just like me. I went on a 5 minute bus journey yesterday and
still took a book! What’s your makeup bag must haves?
Rimmel London Wake Me Up concealer, Rimmel London Stay Matte powder,
Essence Snow Jam hand balm and Essence Stay With Me lip gloss.
You talk about some really great books on your blog! Do you have an
all-time favourite book or author?
John Green’s books are my favourite ones. They are thrilling, hearth
breaking , funny and relaxing at the same time. Finished reading a book/day,
max 2 days. I just love him and his style of writing.
I’ll definitely be picking up one of his books soon then, he sounds
fantastic! What four beauty related things do you think girls should do
religiously?
Eating healthy is part of the beauty process. I believe it’s the
most important thing to do among all, because ‘You are what you eat’. Many
people nowadays just eat for the sake of eating, without realising that some
foods are not as “healthy” as the company producing them claims them to be.
Eating healthy leads to better heath, energy, beautiful skin and many other
good things.
Great advice and I couldn't agree more. I think we all need
motivating to eat better because there are so many benefits, I know I could definitely
use a detox after all the Christmas food! Where do you see your blog in a year?
Do you have any special posts coming up?
I’m more like a ‘present’ person. I don’t really like thinking about
future in general because it scares the hell out of me, so I don’t know how my
blog will be in a year, but I hope it’ll be awesome. And yes, I've got plenty
of lovely posts coming up for the winter holidays.
That’s a lovely way to blog; in the moment! And lastly, if you could
give one piece of advice to aspiring bloggers, what would it be?
Be patient and never give up on blogging! It might be difficult at
the beginning to advertise your blog and make people read it, you could not get
the feedback you dreamt of, but it takes time. So be patient and let your blog
be about things you really like writing about.
Patience is definitely key! Thank you for your great advice and for taking the time to be interviewed! It has been great getting to know you a little better!
As you can see, Otilia is just wonderful. If you'd like you can check out her blog here http://littlelibraryofdreams.blogspot.ro/ there's something for everyone and you're sure to leave with a few good books to add to your reading list!
Thanks for reading,
Until next time,
Lizzie
