Bodyshop Peppermint Range: Intensive Foot Rescue & Cooling Foot Lotion

Hello!
 How are you?
The cold weather has reeked havoc on my skin this winter and my heels haven't gotten off lightly either. Now that we're on our way toward Spring, I feel it's time to start giving my feet a little TLC so that they are ready and prepared to compliment a good pair of flip flops when the time comes.
Recently, on my mission to have my feet 'spring ready', I re-discovered the Bodyshops 'peppermint foot range' and today I thought I'd do a little review on the Peppermint Cooling Foot lotion and Intensive foot rescue.

The Peppermint Cooling foot lotion

The cooling foot lotion is described as a 'daily treat for feet' with the promise to cool and refresh, hydrate, leave feet soft and smooth and combat odour.

The Peppermint foot lotion is a light weight cream that gives a cooling sensation when applied. The light weight texture of the cream means that a little goes a long way and the cooling sensation helps aching feet. I like to apply a little morning and night and find that it will leave my feet soft and smooth throughout the whole day. The smell is also divine, but I definitely only recommend if you like peppermint as it is very strong and lingers for a long time! It's great though because it eliminates any odour rather than masking it. It's a great 'everyday' foot lotion and since using it I've found that my heels have been less prone to cracking and have remained soft and smooth much longer after using, even on days when I'm constantly on my feet. My skin is also very sensitive so I 100% recommend giving it a try if you're like me and struggle to find products that don't make you go bright red! Plus, at £3 for a large bottle you really can't go wrong!

The intensive Foot Rescue

The Intensive foot rescue is 'for feet in need of TLC' with 'the overnight moisture booster' working 'on hard skin and dry heels'. Bodyshop also claim it 'softens hard skin, re-hydrates dry heels and helps to combat odour'.

I like to use this cream on weeks when I've been on the go all the time and my feet aren't in the greatest of shape. At £9 it may seem pricey but it only takes 3-4 applications for it to completely sort my feet out, little filing needed. I just rub in a little before bed, put on cotton socks to lock in the moisture and then wake up the next morning with fully restored feet. No exaggeration. The foot rescue is a very thick, creamy consistency but applies very lightly and like the cooling foot lotion, it doesn't leave any greasy residue. It has the same amazing peppermint smell as all the products in the 'peppermint range' and so will definitely get rid of any odour. It is also great on my sensitive skin, which is the biggest bonus, I really can't praise this product more.

I hope you've enjoyed this review
You can purchase the Intensive Foot Rescue and Cooling Foot Lotion online here or in your local Bodyshop store.

If you do try out either of these products, I hope you love them as much as I do.
