DIY Dream Catcher

Hello
How are you?

Happy Valentines day!

Today I decided to have a quiet day, something I always need to do to rejuvenate after a busy week. Usually I'll work on my novel, sort out my cupboards or do some kind of craft and today, I decided to make my eldest niece a little present.

To make the dream catcher I used an old bangle bracelet, some yarn thread and buttons from Wilkinson's along with a few beads from a broken bracelet. I decided to make up my own web instead of following the traditional weaving pattern (I'll do a step-by-step DIY on that soon) and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

What do you like to do on quiet days?

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. That dream catcher is so pretty, looks as if you had really relaxing day. Looking forward to the tutorial. On quiet days I like to watch old black and white movies drinking lots of cups of tea :) xxx
