Hope
you’re all excited for Valentine’s Day on Friday, whether you’re with friends
or a special someone! I’m Lizzie and I blog at
ablushingblondebeauty.blogspot.co.uk. I live in London, and my love for beauty
is only seconded by my love of Maths – I’m a complete geek! I post every other
day on my blog, and I focus mainly on beauty and life, with some fashion thrown
in! Thanks so much to Lizzie for letting me guest post, and I hope you all take
in a tip or two from this post, and check out my blog once you've finished
this!
Step
1: Exfoliate and Moisturise
Before
applying any lip colour I like to exfoliate my lips using a lip scrub as it
removes any chapped bits and lets your lip colour apply smoother – the ones
from Lush are amazing, but I have a recipe on my blog of how to make one at
home! Then you need to moisturise your lips about 5 minutes prior to applying
your lip colour in order to let in sink in. BabyLips are the bomb but Nuxe and
Balmi also do great lip balms.
Step
2: Apply your lip colour
Long-lasting
lip products are easy to find on the high street, but two of my favourite
kissable but kiss-proof lip products are the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm
Stains and the Max Factor Lipfinity Lipcreams. The Revlon are so easy to apply
and wear off well, but can last up to 6 hours! I’ve worn one of these whilst
eating a burger so they last! The Max
Factor take a while to dry, but once they’re down they ain’t coming up! These
stick around through eating, drinking, chatting, and, yes, kissing!
Or,
if you’re more of a lipstick kinda-gal, then apply a lip liner before your
lipstick. Blot, then apply a thin layer with a lipbrush. Blot again, then apply
normally. This should create a stain-like effect underneath your lipstick,
leaving it there all night long!
I
hope you enjoyed this post, make sure you check out my blog too, subscribe to
Lizzie via bloglovin and GFC, and I hope to see you over at ablushingblonde!
Love,
Lizzie XXX

I've been told my lips are the "best part of my face" haha (Don't know if this is a compliment or not" but I'll definitely be ttrying this out to amplify my assets ;)
