My Nighttime skincare regime!

The skin as well as the body recovers at night: which is why it's important to develop a nighttime skincare regime to wake up looking refreshed and well rested.

Today I'm going to share with you my quick and easy nighttime skincare routine as well as some of my favourite products!

It's just 5 steps, but it could save you a lot of trouble in the future!

Wipe

Before washing my face clean, I like to take a makeup wipe lightly over my face and eyelids. I like to use witch hazel cleansing and toning wipes as I find they're nice and gentle on my sensitive skin.

Wash

I then take a soft flannel and wash my face. It's important to take off makeup before bed to prevent waking up with breakouts. Remembering to take off your makeup well before bed is an easy way to fight premature ageing and other skin issues.

Cleanse

I then cleanse and exfoliate my skin to remove dead skin cells and prevent morning breakouts. I either use a natural facial cleanser (olive oil and sugar makes for a great facial scrub) or my Simple Moisturising foaming face wash available at superdrug and other drug stores.

Tone

I then tone my face to remove any remaining debris and oil. Toning also helps to soothe and hydrate the skin: restoring its pH balance. You can make your own toner (very very diluted apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp to a glass of water is amazing) but this toner: simple kind to skin soothing facial toner is fab too.

Moisturise

Lastly I moisturise for softness and re-hydration. At the moment I'm really liking both Simple kind to skin light moisturiser and Arbonne Daily moisturising cream- Day&night

So, that's it!

I hope you've enjoyed this quick post

AND HAPPY EASTER!
