Review: Lush the comforter

Hello!
How are you?

I spoke a little while ago about how my nephew got me Lush's bubble bar 'the comforter' for my birthday and I've become so obsessed that I just HAD to dedicate a whole post to this little treasure.

"This fruity bubble bar gives the feeling of being hugged by a jolly blackcurrant. When life is getting you down, crumble The Comforter under hot, running water for purple water and creamy bubbles. The warm aroma of cassis absolute is relaxing so relaxing that you'll go to bed feeling happier and the world will seem brighter the next day."

The Look

The comforter is a bubble bar that should not be hidden away: frame it, shelf it but whatever you do DISPLAY it. It's so pretty with its vibrant colours reminding me of raspberry ripple ice cream.

It even turns the water pink!

The smell

The smell is overwhelmingly indulgent. It's fruity but not sickly, it literally smells like candy king...every time I use this bar I just want to eat it. Not reccomended however. The smell does fade a little into the bath but it definitely lingers on skin.

The Longevity

I've had 5 baths out of this bar and still have a good baths worth left making the longevity of the comforter absolutely incredible. Not only this but you can get away with crumbling the smallest chunk and still have a bath full of bubbles: the same kind of result you could expect from a medium sized bath bomb.

Comforting?

After a long day, the comforter does what it says on the tin: it comforts. There's nothing like a bubble bath before bed and the comforter is perfect for just that. It's creamy, smells incredible and doesn't fail to leave me relaxed and my skin feeling soft and nourished.

All in all, if you're a bubble bath person-the comforter is for you.

You can buy the comforter here for £4.50

Hope you're having a lovely weekend!
