Amie Skincare range- review

Have you heard of Amie yet?!

No?

Allow me to catch you up!

'Amie products are gentle yet super-effective.Ideal for sensitive skin that can be oily and prone to breakouts or dryness, they have been especially designed to work in complete harmony with your skin to help keep it clear, soft and radiant.'

Amie's products are free from parabens, mineral oils, petrochemicals, sodium laureth sulphate, ingredients of a genetically modified origin as well as being free from animal testing and suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. Amie products are made of 95% natural ingredients and are pH balanced and dermatologically tested.

This past month, I've been trying out 3 products from Amie's skincare range and today, I'm going to share with you my thoughts.

Amie Radiant Dawn Exfoliating daily wash £4.95

The exfoliating daily wash contains green apple, lemon extract, blueberry seed and vitamin E exfoliating beads so naturally, it smells fruity and amazing. You simply wet your face and rub the daily wash in using circular motions; while it comes in gel form it turns to a foamy scrub as you rub it in making for an extra gentle face wash perfect for us ladies with sensitive skin. The cleanser promises to lift dead skin cells, dirt and oiliness whilst unclogging pores to leave you with soft, refreshed looking skin and wow, it doesn't disappoint. The first few washes I really didn't see much difference in the look and feel of my skin however after a few days I began to notice my skin becoming a lot softer and my pores less visible.

Amie Spring Clean Deep Cleansing Mask £5.95

Next is the deep cleansing mask containing organic peppermint, white clay and lime butter. The scent is fairly strong due to the peppermint but pleasant nonetheless. The mask aims to purify pores, combat oiliness and blemishes. I recommend leaving it on for 10-15 minutes to really allow the mask to do its magic: you won't regret it. On first attempt I found the mask to give off a stinging sensation but after using it a few times now I believe that this is just due to the 'cooling' factor and I have to say, I'm so glad I persevered with it. The mask is fantastic for reducing redness as well as the appearance of blemishes and is wonderful to use after cleansing and before applying makeup. It really does combat oiliness leaving you with a lovely soft base that appears dewy and refreshed.

Amie Morning Dew Matte Finish Moisturiser £4.95

Finally we have the matte-finish moisturiser containing vitamin E, bilberry and rosehip. I suffer with oily t-zone syndrome and so applying a little of this all over my face before makeup creates a base as good as any primer has ever given me. I definitely recommend using this after the exfoliating daily wash for glowing skin without the oil.

So taking a look at my 'overview' it's pretty clear that I'm crazy for Amie. I 100% recommend all three products, especially to use together for a great skincare regime. I can't wait to incorporate more Amie products into my own daily skincare and makeup routines!

Have you tried any of these products?

I hope you're having a lovely week!

  3. Yay! So glad you did a post on Amie! I'm currently using the Morning Dew moisturiser which I think smells gorgeous! I've also got the Gentle Eyes eye make-up remover and the Instant Spot-Clearing gel. I'm planning on doing some reviews on them soon. :) I think once I'm finished my current skincare items, I may look into replacing them with Amie products. They're really well-priced and I love the packaging too. xxx
