DIY soothing face mask

I mentioned a few posts ago that I'd spent my Saturday evening watching 'Frozen' at 'cinema in the park'. While I had a brilliant time, I was under attack from gnats the whole night, thus leaving me with very large red bumps all over my face. In order to combat the redness from the bites and soothe my itchy skin I decided to whip up one of my favourite DIY face masks perfect for this kind of problem.
This face mask is brilliant for moisturising and soothing the skin, fighting acne, preventing premature aging, relieving sunburn, and reducing discolouration, scarring and swelling from bites.
And guess what?
You only need 2 ingredients!
You will need:
A handful of oats
2-3 tbsps. natural yoghurt
To make:
Simply mix ingredients together in a bowl adjusting quantities to suit needs.
To use:
Use mask immediately. Dampen face and apply mask avoiding the eye area. Leave for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with warm water and pat dry. Follow with your favourite moisturiser!

And that's it!
I can't tell you how much better my skin feels; the bites have reduced right down and the redness is nearly all gone. Oats and natural yoghurt work fantastically as separate treatments but when mixed together, they make for a killer combination and the perfect soothing mask!
What's your favourite face mask at the moment?
I hope you're having a wonderful week
